  1. 🥇 Muhammad Shafay Ijaz – 1st Position
  2. 🥈 Sana Rasool – 2nd Position
  3. 🥉 Momina Azhar – 3rd Position

Their exceptional performance has set a new benchmark for CSS aspirants across Pakistan.

Service Group Preferences of Top Candidates

Interestingly, 19 out of the top 20 qualifiers chose to join the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) , the most sought-after group in the civil services, while only one candidate opted for the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP). Notably, none of the top 30 candidates selected the Foreign Service of Pakistan (FSP), indicating a shifting trend in candidate preferences this year.

Analysis: A Declining Success Rate

The CSS 2024 examination continues the trend of extremely low pass percentages, reflecting both the competitive nature of the exam and the need for better preparation and educational alignment. Compared to previous years, the 2024 result marks a further drop, showing that only a handful of candidates make it through Pakistan’s most prestigious recruitment process.

The CSS 2024 final result once again underscores the difficulty level of Pakistan’s premier competitive exam. With only 229 successful candidates out of over 15,000 aspirants, the need for strategic preparation, concept clarity, and guidance from experienced mentors has become more crucial than ever.

As per FPSC, the appointment of successful candidates will be finalized after medical fitness and background verification.
